i got one raff like this too....sometime the cap may dry and drop off, or even broken off accidentally somehow. that is why u see no cap !

That's a new species of nepenthes! It's called N. deforma....:laugh: looks spine chilling....

Yup;) I recall seeing some other neps that doesn't have any caps in desa parkcity:laugh: But it's quite cool y'know

my sanguinea do that sometimes too...and ovata,which looked hilarious. It might be, if you just recieved the plant, that its acclimating to its new area; it happened to the plants i bought back in september, and my spectabilis hybrid still has its deformed pitchers from then!
