Re: August Pitcher...
Thanks everybody for your kind comments... :shy:
Hi Boris, Thanks for your comment. I believe you need to take a look at Nepenthes Siam to decide whether N. viking x miranda hybrid have any potential. Since most of it are seed grown, there're many variant among seedlings so the possibilities are endless.... Ali, I didn't give the N. truncata x TM any special treatment, it's growing side by side with my other low landers and intermediate neps. I believe a very well drained media will probably be more suitable for this hybrid. |
Re: August Pitcher...
oh yes ... you are right. This are very nice plants. My female miranda flowered and I pollinated it with N. lowii and N. spathulata. Seedpods are developing so I'm full of hope for this hybrids if there will be some germination. That's the reason why I was very interested in this hybrid. If you wonder that there are also female mirandas have a look here: I did an ID request at pitcherplants forum:
http://pitcherplants.proboards.com/i...ay&thread=7622 I really was full of admiration of your plants. I hope my comment didn't sounded negativ. |
