Yes, now that you guys mentioned it, the last picture looks liek it is most probably a hybrid or pure sanguinea. Good observation guys!

I have to agree, each time I see them I like them even more! What is the lowest altitude any of you have every seen them growing in healthy condition? I mean non-cultivated plants.

Wow! This species has always been one of my fav's, even one with a red leaf too! Their hybrids with N. sang are stunning! :1thumbup: - Rich
