You can always visit Malesiana tropicals (MT) there.Yes you can bring back plants from Kuching as Kuching is a part of Malaysia. ;)

PM'ed you. I'd check on the idea about returning with plants...it's part of Malaysia but I think I remember hearing about enforcement regarding Neps leaving Borneo for anywhere being a problem. Ch'ien Lee or Julianna at MT can probably tell you. MT's plants have all the certificates to export but it takes weeks to get them (the certs.) - you'd probably have to order in advance. Have a great trip!

shawn, do you have their contacts?

cbkhoon, it is the best to get things ready as malaysian airport berhad had imposed strict regulation on bringing flora and fauna via flight as it involved a few departments. so you would not want to leave your purchase behind...i can't even fly from subang to tioman wt plants...:sweating:

i would be happy to bring back some plants for a group buy or something, if the certificates allow us to bring back plants. But i got to limit the group to northern malaysia only... i do not have time to pack and post the plant one by one. Self-pickup can be araanged for Penang members.

What do you say? Btw i have never arrange such group buy things, might need some advice from Mr. Nepnut
