URL is the link.for example, the URL to the photo is photobucket.com/1123/vftpic/2434.

thats just an example.
first u copy the link to the photo, then when u are about to reply,u click the button with this image https://forum.petpitcher.net/images/e...nsertimage.gif.
after u click that,it ask u to paste link to image which is URL,then u paste la :)

Sam,
i suggest you to put your VFT at one place and dont move it though u move it once at night and once in the morning.your VFTs wont be happy if its been move and it wont develope deep colouration(if it suppose to) and big traps(if it suppose to).thats from my experience :)

Good Luck!
Harris

The yellow patch (I supposed) could be mosquito bite*biggrin2*. Since you mentioned the root was fine, I think the plant should be OK.
Tap water in Malaysia is fine for CPs, I used tap water for many years already.
All my VFTs are under full sun, they don't seems to decline but infact enjoyed it. I did hear that temperature in Northern Malaysia is higher compared to southern region, something like 41 to 43 degree C if I'm not mistaken in the extreme hot evening :crying:, that could be too hot for VFTs which shade will be needed. In KL, at least in where I lived, the tempeature seldom go up to 38 degree C. I never place VFTs under shade cloth before, maybe should make a try, who knows they show some surprises:laugh:!
From my observation, CPs don't like constant temperature throughout day & night. They eventually decline although they show sign of OK in the initial stage, night time cooling is a must at least to mimic their natural habitat.

Your VFT obviously lack of sunlight. Give it more sunlight! Extend the photo period to at least 8 hours. Your VFT looked exhausted too. Don't manual feed it too much, let it catch it's own food. The yellowish colour is normal and the plant overall looked fine.

Yes. Lack of sunlight. Your full sun is not my full sun!

VFTs does not neccesarily need to be in water trays. I never put mine in water trays now because of MOSQUITOES, they actually do very well being watered daily. Just let your water tray dry each day and fill it up again the next day, too much water slows it's growth and root rot will ensue. If possible, a humid environment is a great addition for the plant's healthy life, I put mine on top of my fountain elevated by pebbles
