New experiment with cuttings
Introducing Vinister’s new line of carnivorous plant products, the Bio Vial. Just stick your newly cut basal shoot in these rose vials, add distilled water and rooting hormone, and watch it grow ! Never again will i have to waste my precious vermiculite and sphag. ^___^
This is Nepenthes x Deroose Alata, the perfect guinea pig in my new invention. You can just stick these vials in the pots of other nepenthes, conserving space. http://i811.photobucket.com/albums/z...-28at16142.jpg http://i811.photobucket.com/albums/z...9-28at1614.jpg http://i811.photobucket.com/albums/z...9-28at1613.jpg |

Re: New experiment with cuttings
Yeah, i was just tired of using up my expensive soil and very much needed space, so its perfect all way around. If this plant makes it, my rajah thats only 3 inches tall has a basal shoot that i can separate. Im also gonna try cutting up all of my vining sanguineas when my friend gives me more vials, my house will be a forest i declare =P

Re: New experiment with cuttings
a syringe would be very helpful when water level isnt on cutting...trying to pop off the rubber cap is a pain!
