Re: NEW TOPIC
good spring cleaning for it!with the fresh sphagnum moss in and the sarr was cleaned tip top,im sure it'll grow happy for you :)just give it tons of sun and dont forget water tray and push the sphagnum moss lower abit.try not to bury the rhizome too much :)

Re: NEW TOPIC
Nicely done. Though I'd prefer soaking the sphagnum longer so that it absorbs as much water as possible, but then again, the water tray will do it for you

Re: NEW TOPIC
Thx ......and I wanna ask..what are the signs of dormancy for a sarra........ And (a little off topic) do droseras need dormancy???
|
Re: NEW TOPIC
if dormant period, sarra will start grow slow, or you will notice the pitches getting smaller and end up not pitches at all.
Dormant period will make the leaf dry out and you need to trim them. Try find Google more on this http://www.flickr.com/photos/evansca...ts/3164617670/ |
Re: NEW TOPIC
some droseras need dormancy.but droseras dont need fridge.when its dormant, just leave it there till it grows again.
for sarracenia, most of them will grow phyllodia as signs of dormancy. this is how phyllodia look like https://www.google.com.my/imglanding?...ed=0CCAQ9QEwBA |
