Help needed to id 2 plants
4 Attachment(s)
Hi there
Plant 1 I've recently got a nep but the seller do not know what species it is. He told me it is an unknown species, yet to be identified (perhaps trying to sweet-talk me to buy rare species)... Anyway, if you can id it, would be great. https://forum.petpitcher.net/attachme...1&d=1234029890 NOTE: Most pitchers are light green. This one is slightly coloured, after I feed it or perhaps due to the morning sun. Plant 2 Also, I have another one that my wife bought for me 2 years back from Sarawak. Someone told me it is a highland species. Pitcher have been quite small for me for this one. Re: Help needed to id 2 plants
The second plant is a ventricosa red. The first appears to be miralbilis x raff, amp x raff, or something along those lines.

Re: Help needed to id 2 plants
Actually, one of the many forms of N. ventrata going around, a very complex hybrid swarm. - Rich

The first is xKuchingensis and the second will most probably be ventricosa.

Re: Help needed to id 2 plants
Thanks for info guys. The second one, although having it for 2 years, pitcher size have never been big. I got it together with truncata which did better initially. However, I've just spotted a couple of new pitchers here and there, a bit bigger since before CNY repot. Will take pictures again once they grew.
First one is getting more pinkish. Will take more pictures later, perhaps with sizing info. |
