I think, it is because there is no or less activity to promote CP hobby. CP nursery must do something on this. May be having a short term CP show, or seminar...

That akta is probably going to make matters worse. Let's hope it does not affect our hobby, since our plants are not from the wild.

but how can we prove it? if they really investigate, how we gonna clarify ourselves?
if they really wanna to preserve nature, i do not even think that they have the intention doing that except putting anothers money in their personal pocket

i think 1 of the reason forum getting less activities is becoz many people hv moved to FB, sharing their photos and comments among their own friends.

We need to cultivate the CP hobby in Malaysia. Would be good if we started off at some places like schools.

IMHO, its not that at all.

Just that CP needs time to grow and if there is no problems, there is no need to post and ask for assistance.
Same for its development, dont think anyone would be posting their plant's development every month. It would be a little tedious and boring both for the owner as well as other forummers.

As to purchases of new plants, how often do we do it? No new purchases equals no pictures to share.

As the CP enthusiast circle is pretty small in Malaysia, most of us log in to read now and then only.

As t the Act being enforced and its affect on CP keeping, I have until today to view a full copy of the Act. Have done some searches on the net but have not been able to get the whole document with the list of flora and fauna that is in question.
