Onkaparinga Gorge South Australia
 
Hello everyone,
Been busy for the last few week but managed to get couple of field trip in. The first was to Onkaparinga gorge, where most species of native Drosera are found here in SA.

Drosera peltata, the Pale sundew. We only noticed this colony this season, even though it had to be there for years.

Drosera glanduligera, small native annual, maybe biannual

I like the first picture. The whole field is full of them glistening in the sun.

Yes, that is a pretty spectacular first image! Must really have been fun standing there just admiring that stand of plants glistening like that!

The place is amazing. Initially I thought those are flower untill you all mention that.

There was a bushfire through there last year which clear alot of the vegetation. The Drosera and orchid benfit from the ash as well. It best i seen at that location in 10 years.
