Thanks for the tip. But if I were to have a tank, it'll still be glass as polycarbonate scratches very easily and UV degradation will cause it to become yellow. Though no doubt it is easy to handle.

Yah. The Arcylic will be crack after sometime. But i seen some high grade arcylic which can stand the heat of the sun. If you can make some hole on the glass of course glass is the best. What i concern now is the tank temperature. I afraid if the air circulation no so good will make the CPs die.

Yeah thanks for the tip, but like bactrus I will probably end up with a glass one as well, reason is that I am probably just going to reuse some spare glass that is lying around. :) What I might do however is not make the sides too tall!

If you are not planing to plant tall CPs like Sara, D. Filiformis then you can make the side wall not too high. Mine the sara already hit the top.:2thumbup:

Arvin, You have experience in cutting glass I recon. Skin is crawling, last time my bro and I cut glass, he ended up with a 5 inches "oyster" on his middle finger. Fun though.

Edwin, Ventilation is easy. Side panels instead of using on whole piece. Use two pieces instead; leaving a gap in the middle for ventilation.

Great job Edwin. The plants look to be loving your setup.

One question though, Have you thought about how you may be able to provide dormancy period to Sarra and temperate dews such as filiformis?
