Nepenthes jamban
Name: Nepenthes jamban
Highland/Lowland: Intermediate to Highland Country of Origin: sumatra Natural Habitat: upper montane mossy forest amongst summit scrub vegetation. Described by: Cultivation Guide: Lighting: 50-80% Potting Medium: LFS/Perlite/Sand/Peat/Osmunda fiber/orchid bark Temperature: 60-85ºF day, 50-60ºF night Humidity: 60% to 90% Watering: three to four times a week Propagation: cuttings or seed Remarks: A rather easy, fast growing highland species. I have come to have a great affection for this plant, it has very viscous pitcher fluid and the plants can be rather lanky with a thin growing stem. Pitchers do not need to be resting on anything to inflate properly. |
