I agree with kenneth, is it Borneo's exhibit in Chelsea? Nice edit on the ampullaria 'Cantley's Red'. I await more pictures :smile:

Yep ! It is BE exhibit but in Singapore :).

I can see spectabilis in this, but my only guess would be spectabilis x talangensis or vice versa. Not sure though...

hello brader ken,title of the thread woc ( world orchid conference in Singapore 13thNov-20th Nov, 2011). some of you should attend since it was just across the causeway. This was held once every 3 years, this time in Singapore.

Thanks for the info :) I always wondered, when they transfer plants from their nurseries to the exhibits, don't their plants get stressed and maybe drop pitchers or something? They all seem so nice all the time

Probably they establish their plants into the display a long time before. Then they hire some kind of super secure transport with a controlled environment. Probably have lasers too *biggrin2* after all, they HAVE the resources and money for such a large scale display and transporting it.
