If you don't mind, could you post the names of some of those Neps? There are a few that look very unique nd don't look like any epenthes that I know of...

Thanks again!

Simon,

These are beautiful pictures. By the way, what species is the last two pictures? Is the second last picture talangensis and the last one alata/xventrata?

My favourites are the vilosa, rafflesiana and the second last picture. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Simon,

You stay in selangor so where did you find so many N rafflesianas 0.o if like starth said if you dont mind me asking.I like the last pic the best it looks like a N ventrata but they don't even hybridize in the wild 0.o assuming that all of those pics were from the wild. Please name some of those plants

It is not a good idea to place a exotic plants inside our jungle. There will cause a lot of problems in our ecosystem.

You are right Lim, if that ventrata flowered and cross with other native neps and 10-20 yrs down the road, we might not be able to find the local pure strain neps anymore... We all know how hardy x ventrata is.... it'll be a lost for our local ecology :crying:

Simon,
Thanks for sharing those great shots... we need more people like you and Robert to go out in the field to document those marvelous plants. Good job !! :1thumbup:

Check this.

Quite sad to see this. So, don't simply release any exotic animal or plants.
