Pygmy drosera's substrate
 
Im planning on getting some pygmy droseras soon and Im having trouble on choosing the kind of sand for the mix as its substrate.

For now I haver this sand and Im wondering if its ok to use for mygmy droseras.

That sand looks OK to use. Wash it before use to ensure it is free of contaminates such as salt. I presume you are mixing the sand with peat moss.

Yes im mixing it with peat in 1:1 ratio

@Jeyem, may I know were you purchase your pygmy drosera's. Is it on eBay? Thanks! Do we have a local supplier in PH?

From ebay. But its not with me yet. Ill also try purchasing some gemmaes on the net maybe next week. I havent heard anyone in the philippines growing pygmies
