I had buy D. filiformis ssp. filiformis, Drosera Intermedia (Great Swamp), Drosera Binata v. multifida f. extreme x Drosera Binata The medium that i was using was pure Sphagnum Moss and i put it in a transparent plastic container with cover. The medium was fully soaked with water but still got some extra water in it, will upload photo in a few day.....So, the way i plant it got problem?:biggrin::tongue: |

Re: New D. in my house
Not bad. Just make sure they get lots of sunlight. Then you're fine off with these seedlings.

Re: New D. in my house
Sorry for asking, how long as does the seedlings needed for maximum and minimum exposure of sunlight? Thanks for answering...

Re: New D. in my house
You can use spagnum moss to grow drosera seeds, but, it is recommond to chop it to small pieces so that seed will not drop to gap of spagnum moss...
|
Re: New D. in my house
OMG....but too late already...but i got compress the SM tightly...hope that the seeds won't fall too deep....
|
Re: New D. in my house
Nevermind one...sometimes they still can grow back up
|
Re: New D. in my house
Hope so.......if all of them germinate successfully...
|
Re: New D. in my house
I only use peat moss to germinate small seeds since chopping LFS takes a long time to do and like what Casey said, the seeds may drop into the gaps inside the sphagnum. Don't worry, I am also germinating some d. intermedia seeds with LFS too, will post them if they germinate. My intermedia seeds are nearly six months old, might not be viable.....

Re: New D. in my house
OMG......edward, where did you get those seeds? Me get them from the seedbank, hope that they were freshly enough for germinate......Now me keeping maximum humidity for them....for that will boost them...Wahaha
|
Re: New D. in my house
How long does it need to take!!!!! LOl...none of them germinate....ZZzzzzz.......
|
Re: New D. in my house
Just be patient... to grow CP from seeds, patient is the success keyword...
|
Re: New D. in my house
Haizzz.....really hope there will be time machine for them, hehe
|
Re: New D. in my house
Time machine is better when they are growing up :D
|
Re: New D. in my house
The last time I managed to germinate the seeds to about half a cm in diameter, it took almost one month.
My seeds aren't germinating at all after the past 3 weeks. I suppose they aren't viable anymore. |
