Hi Adi, interesting highland setup and plants collection. Did the seller mention what form was the veitchii Batu Lawi? It was likely the tree clasping type as most of Lawi form tend to have this tendency. It will take years to find out though.

Hi Adi

Nice neps!!!...................I love the terrarium you set up.Also i'm not sure if the kuchingensis is a kuchingensis cos to me it looks more like a hookeriana.

Hi Adi,
Your plants are really nice. What are the surrounding temps outside the terrarium? How do you maintain the temperature within the terrarium? Interested to know more about growing conditions for Neps in Israel

Re: my plants

Wow, you have lots of rare neps! Tell me, all those young neps, are they seed grown or you bought them from nep sellers?

Cheers

Robert
the seller is wistuba, according to his site it's the tree clasping type.
kentosaurs
I am pretty sure it's N.kuchingensis ,I also have N.hookeriana .I know there's allot of variants of both so I might be wrong.
funkychips
the temps in the terrarium are 12-17 night 20-23 c day.
the temps right now in Israel days around 20 c nights around 13 c .
(the days are hot and night are cold)
most of the year it's pretty hot in Israel 25+ c.
I am maintaining the temps using cold plate(right now I don't really need it
the thermostat of the system kicks in once in a while during the day because of the lights-MH 250W.
edwardyeeks
the plats are from wistuba(he is the only one who can and willing to send to Israel)

wow ! do you plan to let it clasp tree ( maybe dried tree trunk ).I understand some growers are trying to let it but still at premlimery stage as its growth were slow, typical of veitchii H/L intermediate. Good luck:1thumbup:
