Xiwei,
I am staying nearby too. Let me know if you going in again, not dare to go in alone. Are you staying nearby? Saw some construction work, too bad.....not sure are they going to start something:mad: |
Re: Air Hitam "Reserve" forest trip 16-9-2010
wanted to enter again, but dunno when I am free to do so again, this weekend I have class...so not planning to risk going in since it is not a public holiday, there is a chance of being kick out by rangers as told by my friend who guided me in this time, however, there might be a short cut to enter that place if you know the entrance from saujana puchong, the road is all paved with sand and stone, spare us the time of going up hill and down hill in the bushes:smile:

IC, no wonder you go so far.
My entrance is near to the water fall, I heard not very far, but have not try yet. I didn't know that it can link to Bandar Puteri.:1thumbup: |

An epic fail today...which leads to N. Gracilis heaven, saw lot of extraordinary variance of this common species including hot lips, red wings, red leaves, maroon, brown/black speckle and so on, it's just amazing to know the other side of the jungle does have nepenthes, special thanks to Weeps:1thumbup:
A few photos: Flower http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/i...rgod/014-8.jpg Red(Under strong sun light, my cam phone just cann't get a descent photo that shows it's color) http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/i...rgod/015-7.jpg Black/brown speckle that I took a 20cm cutting http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/i...rgod/016-7.jpg Back side of the same pitcher http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/i...rgod/017-6.jpg Red leaves...another one that I took two 15cm cutting, the leaves color http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/i...rgod/018-6.jpg Sad to see nearby where sign of development has begun...but this place will be safe for at least another few years |
