Re: Cephalotus from YG (MAHA)

As I read from a book from Taiwan CPer, he said that cephalotus will grow well when they are small. Once they produce adult pitcher (previously I got it as well :crying:), the plant may cannot take hot temperature. And die slowly.

Thats why, I propagate it to have more plantlet, instead of just keep the mother plant. unfortunately, the mother plant cannot make it after I did leaf pulling. :crying:

For the cephalotus that I got, I grow it outdoor, but, protected it from rain. Exposed to 2 hour morning sun. Water it when the media is dry (probably once every 2 days).

On top of that, I use 4~5 pot to keep the plant by stalk them together. Reason is, I want to use the air between those pots to serve as heat resistant to cool down the media. (Personnaly thought, dont know the theory behind will help or not... But, I think it will cooler the media :shy:)
