I think it will stay there till the pitcher dies off. Most probably found a rich supply of foo(insects) to feed on, must be enjoying itself in a nice spa :smile:

it wont die but enjoy the coolness and safety surrounded by the amp wall. If you check late evening it will disappear and return to the same pitcher next day.

robert, u mean it purposely go into it but not fall into it accidentally? and it is going out to hunt for food and then can come back somemore ??

The frog is not there anymore when I checked this morning. I think it got in there on purpose as it usually seeks cool and wet places. Have encountered bigger ones sitting in pot but this is first in cup. Will see if it returns.

it might hide in other pitcher in other plants.. look around

yea, it's no accident. I have encounter frogs in my pitchers. They come and disappear. sometimes they lay eggs too.

The frogs should benefit the plant by excreting inside the pitcher. If you go to nurseries where they sell lots of pitcher plants, you may occasionally see frogs inside them. Most of the time, they are found in mirandas.

Yeah, agree, especially they were letting away their waste product and protein from their baby...
