We also visited Andy's Place. Here are some shots that I took of his Tills, Broms, Staghorns, ant plants etc... There are actually more. It was an amazing experience for me entering his place for the first time. It's like another world.

Re: CP Competition - Other Activities

Hi David

About the species which looks like some uknown species......After running through the book maybe just maybe don't you think it looks like a nepenthes species name Nepenthes Infundibuliformis

Here are some info from the book...

Possibly a Sulawesi form of N maxima....Lower pitcher are similiar but squatter and orange brown in colour. The tiny upper pitchers startling 3 " tall they are shaped like miniature wine glass..The pitcher rapidly constricts to the tendrill.Has oval mouth and a narrow lid.

I can't se ethe picture because it doesn't seem to show even after a million times refreshing.

Re: CP Competition - Other Activities

Eymae or infundibulformis looks nothing like that. The uppers of eymae are usally greenish in color. This plant has red speckled pitchers. The leaves also appear to be wrong for eymae. Eymae has leaves similar to maxima and this species has sessile leaves. This means that the leaf reaches all the way to the stem. Gracils and venticosa are examples of sessile leaved plants.

kentosaurs 28th December 2008 07:15 PM

Re: CP Competition - Other Activities

They're the same species ? eymae and that unspellable plant? It was said to be called eymai or sumting like that (typing error)?

alcran 29th December 2008 12:24 AM

Re: CP Competition - Other Activities
