Hey guys/gals,

What should I do when my becarii has fruits/flowers. Any particular thing to do or watch out for or I should just wait. When can I collect it's seeds?

David, after it flowers you can see some minute, about the size of 2-3mm very succulent berries. You have to wait for it to turn orange red before harvest. I'm not sure how long it will take, about a month's time I guess.
Press out the seeds to your media. That's it!
Good luck!:2thumbup:

Oh.....very fat caudex there!

Andy,

Does it self pollinate? I hope I can get some seeds from this plant. I will pass you some of the seeds if it is successful, as promised to you some time back. :)

Gee.....I'm not too sure about that. I know that my hydno. do produce plentiful seeds and the birds ate it first before me! Also, I notice that my mymercodia formicarum set seeds after flowering.

Maybe you let it be initially to see what happen next. If not, then you'll have to self pollinate them.

Oh ya, thanks for your offer too............
Just repotted the the mosey. seedling from you this morning. Will take some picts of it soon. It looks totally different from yours!

I think your mosey will have a larger caudex or tuber and would be more vegorous compared to mine. I think it's the cultivation environment.

Will wait for your pictures.
