Yea, agree with TS, Marvin, what you need us to advise?

Re: Help!!

Notice the question marks on my judith hindel. That means I'm not certain if it is that plant. Somebody indentified it as judith hindel so I named it that.

Re: Help!!

can I just cut it off then?

plantlover 29th April 2009 05:28 PM

Re: Help!!

Is the flower dead? If not why cut it off. It won't kill the plant. Just 1 flower won't do anything serious. My sarra is sending a flowerstalk and I'm not bothering it.

Re: Help!!

Marvin, by looking at your photo, the flower stalk look deformed to me, a healthy one should be a round shape bud at the end of the flower stalk. Hope I'm right because the photo is a bit blur to me.
If it's a deformed one, you could cut it off, don't waste the plant's energy.

Re: Help!!

The photo is too blur. Any clearer photos? Yah, if its deformed, cut it.

Do they self-polinate?It look like some brain-sucking alien.

Re: Help!!

They do not self pollinate themselves. To pollinate you, or an insect need to take pollen and apply it to the stigma. How long have you had it?
