ID expertise required.

Sifus,
Have read from the forum that it is difficult to ID VFT as they differ due to changes in climates, temps, conditions, etc. However, would appreciate if you could ID these VFT's of mine as I wish to update my inventory and make a wish list for further acquisition.*biggrin2*

The second I think it's a 'Red rosetted'because it's traps are red.Give it more light only we can know if it is a red Dragon.

Actually got this Red Rosetted VFT from a nursery in OUG. Tried to get it at Cactus Valley but Ms Cheong said their stock were not yet strong enough for the market!

Thank you for the assistance!

There is no way to ID VFT even expert... The only way is get the ID from the source...

Main reason --> difference environment causing the plant produce diffrence color and way of grow (erect or stick to ground)...

Not entirely true, I think... I've seen some typicals that have an awful lot of red. That's definitely not a red dragon, the "stems" are extremely red on that as well. It actually reminds me a lot of my own Big Mouth, both in the proportion of the traps to the "stems" and in the coloration.

Hi there
They are just typical.

Nowadays there are too MANY unregistered cultivar name for VFT.
Dont be fool. For names like Big mouth, Hot lip, red lip, Red-green, red-purple, Big trap, blar blar.... Those are typical.

Only those unique trap like fused tooth, dentate, Cropped teeth, Cupped trap, Microdent and even wacky trap will be the one that worth the keeping. Maybe Coloured VFT like red dragon will be good too (unless you find white or blue coloured VFT *biggrin2*) OR unique character like B52 will stand out from the rest.

Hope it helps.
