Re: My Northiana
Good growing both of you. Robert, how much light and duration did you expose to your northiana? Did you spray often?

Re: My Northiana
Jimmy, i grow it in open garden and it gets natural sunlight and rain. I water spray lightly on every plant everyday unless it rains. They are under 60% single layer nursery shade.
casey, once the conditions was right and it produces healthy leaves, pitchers will follow soon. paphio,it depends on your local conditions.some tend to grow faster. |
Re: My Northiana
Is the length of sun exposure affects its performance? Mine receive around 6 hour only....

Re: My Northiana
Robert, that is stunning! What do you think of my northiana? I am wondering whether it actually is increasing in size or not compared to the past few months. Is this the normal rate of growth of this plant or mine is like super super slow?

Re: My Northiana
Wow, wow, wow...... Robert, that's a beauty. The one you're holding is growing on the ground? Are those growing in the pot producing the same stunning big pitchers? I'm wondering if the cool roots affect the pitcher size assuming temperature under the ground is cooler campared to media in the pot.

Re: My Northiana
edward, it's doing very well from the first photo to the present. The leaves and pitcher have increased in size. Northiana's growth is slow.
TS, it was from the same pot. The larger pitcher was from the main vine. |
