Those pictures are almost like those sites which i can see by the roadside all around..Sometimes i see some stuff climbing a tree with dead leaves at the bottom and are kinda viny..Must be some gracilis..Aren't the ground of places like these covered with about 1 feet of ferns or more??

it depends, but the area was having a lot of water on morning, maybe that was stopping the fern growing outrageous? *biggrin2*
