Fellow forumers,

I was thinking if anyone want to organize a MO from EP(www.exoticaplants.com.au) I was hooked by the plants from recent S'pore MO from EP.
Any volunteers?

If you guys want,i can contact EP for details on shipping.
Current currency (11/11/08) is 1AUD = RM2.39 (source http://www.xe.com/)

I thought this is our chance to grab our dream plants.
The shipping wont be expensive if we can share the costs right?

I just talked to Fauzi, asked him if he's willing if we organize a group order for EP's neps through him, he's ok with that... so what say you? I wanted to order some plants from EP too... can't tahan only looking at the pics anymore... :laugh:

Ali,
If we go through Fauzi, we shd let Fauzi deal with EP. Let him handle the logistics and we just have to worry about what we wanted to order and if there's enough ppl to do the group order coz there's a minimum order that we need to meet.

For anyone that's been thinking of getting neps from EP, now is a good time to do it since the AUD currency has been trading lower than before.

Hi All,

I talked to cpnut pertaining to the mass purchase from EP. After considering the cost involved I am willing to make the mass order for our forum member base on the fact below:

Currently the exchange rate for Australian dollar is hoovering arround RM2.35. For the purchase from EP I will use the exchange rate during the purchase + 1. This mean that if the exchange rate is at 2.35, I will be using 2.35 + 1 as the median rate in determining the plant prices of which AUS$20 plant will be at RM67.00.

The rate + 1 will include
Documentations (inclusive of Phyto Cert of AUS100), Custom and Jab Pertanian clearing at the KLIA, courier charges (estimated arround AUS$150 according to Geoff of EP) and other expenses.

Pricelist of the EP plants can be viewed at http://www.exoticaplants.com.au/export2.aspx

Since some of the plants may not be long in the pricelist, please PM me if you see the plants that you wanted in the pricelist so that I can e-mail Geoff to booked for the plant.

The order will be closed at 6.00 pm on 30th November 2008 and delivery is expected before end of the year. Interested member can PM me starting from 18 Nov 2008 to order.

With the current forex of AUD, it's very attractive to buy from EP now. So let's make this happen guys !! Now Malaysian can have access to EP's beautiful hydrids without the need to worry about meeting minimum qty order as individual and the logistics. This is probably going to be "one time" only deal...

I want N. veithchii x boschiana :wub:!! Among other things.... have to save up from now :crying::crying:

Fauzi said the ETA for the plants form EP will be aorund end of Dec if the closing date is 30th Nov. So this mean we still have some time to save up :laugh::laugh:.
I'm trying to decide what to get, will update soon... arrrg so many plants, so little $$$... :unsure:

I heard that EP is releasing their new hybrid next year.It's the monsterous rafflesiana x trusmadiensis.Anyone want to wait untill then?or want to continue to close the order on 30/00/08?

Ya, as long as there's enough demand, Fauzi will continue to do this for the future. So step by step, we worry about completing this order 1st by 30th Nov so ETA for EP plant will be around end of Dec.

EP replied to me and they told me that Truncata x TM are all seed grown and the plants we're buying are about 10cm diameter.

Hi All,

I have consulted some of the forum members about the extension of the closing date for EP purchase. For the time being I will leave it open until middle of next month (15/12/08) so that when they have new plants it will appear in their pricelist for December.

If I got any new information from Geof of EP pertaining their new release, I will keep the members updated.

Just got reply from EP.They told me their last shipment of plant will be on next week and they won't be selling any plants before late January.
He also told me he will have some new plants for sale on January..

Hi All,

Their last shipment out for this year is by this week and another shipment will be done in January 09. They will be having some new plants for sale in 2009. He need a list of plants from me so that he can hold them until middle of January 09.

If any of you still interested in making the EP purchase please confirm with me by 14th December the plants that you wanted so that I can prepare the listing for booking. Since there will be new plants on sale by the new year, I think it is better to wait for them to emerge in the pricelist. Hopefully by 15th January we can finalise the order.
