Flower?....what to do?....
 

My N.Gracilis in flower....all are male plants,that's what i though at 1st because it has been flowering only male flower for 2years++.

To my surprise when i saw a female flower.....

Hmmmm.......what to do,what to do.....
because all of the male gracilis flower have dried out,so i cross it with my N.xMiranda that is in flower.....
crossing my finger hope that the seed pod will give me a fertile seed....
then i'll have a dozens of dozens N.gracilis X N.miranda seddling....:tongue:
will post an update off the seed pod....

Hmmmm....i wander,has anyone made a hybrid of N.gracilis X N.xmiranda before?....
what the picther will look like,if anyone have a picture of it,do upload it here...

Usually influence of gracilis is very strong... the hybrid will most probably (large percentage of the seedlings anyway) have thin peristome. :smile:

zultech, you female flower looked already fully open for a while now, it's better if you pollinate it ASAP while the stigma still receptive. My tiny 2 cents... :smile:
