We do overnight trips, 2-4 night depending on distance and also the need to engage porters ( to carry tin food, drinking water, camping gear and camera equipment)

Oh Kapit, the gateway to many fascinating discovery. I was there many years ago to cover the Iban culture before i was poisoned by neps. Do post pics of local culture, besides other interesting stuff (neps of course and rare orchids if you come across). Have a wondeful trip up the mighty Rejang river. Good luck.

lovely veitchii..

i read somewhere that the higher the altitude where you find veitchii, the more colorful the peristome. and those that live on fallen logs have huge leaves to wrap around the trunk in order to support themselves.

The most beautiful was the clone - red pitcher with red strip peristome. There are 2 type of highland intermediate form- terrestrial and epiphytic. The later has the ability to climb tree by clasping their leaves around tree trunk. Both have broad leaves.
