Re: Pitcher's Pic
@David: yes, for this one really the mirabilis gene is way more dominance than the other, will like to see how will the upper looks like. I am not sure which mirabilis was used, never asked the crosser. But looking at the siblings, some got red pitcher, some green, some with same coloration as mine but without the wings. Anyway, that is the fun of seeds grown neps, none of the seedling will turn out the same.

Mine has a nice shiny brown peristome when it folds back.

Re: Pitcher's Pic
@alcran: the size is only 8,5 inch for that one on the picture
@aliamyz: Yes, from MT . @kentosaurs: the pitcher before, was folded back and got reddish brown color on the peristome. Will see about this one, I will update the picture if the color changes. Ed |
Re: Pitcher's Pic
I have a special technique to keep the peristome from folding.I did this to two of my mirandas and my truncata and it worked.

Re: Pitcher's Pic
Hi guys
My truncata i don't know if its a problem or not but it doesn't hold more than 2 pitchers at a time...I've heard of this happening...But well its also happening to me..Anyways my truncata pitchers is around 18-19cm and has little signs of wings on them though...Ali so far i've never tried not folding the pitchers peristrome back but by accident once awhile when the pitcher is in between another plants leaves and its blocking the passage on folding back then it won't fold back much..
