Like u, i intend to read the book first. I must admit that it is the best book (for now) in keeping carnivorous plants, focusing on CPs other than Neps. However, there is a chapter focusing on Neps, but it is not as comprehensive as Charles Clarke's books. Btw Ding, do take photos of N. Benstonei at Bkt Bakar! http://s4.images.proboards.com/smiley.gif Link to Post - Back to Top http://s4.images.proboards.com/ip.gif 202.188.155.196[Naj Grow List] --- [Naj Wanted List] tarence Global Moderator http://s4.images.proboards.com/starred.gifhttp://s4.images.proboards.com/starred.gifhttp://s4.images.proboards.com/starred.gifhttp://s4.images.proboards.com/starred.gifhttp://s4.images.proboards.com/starred.gifhttp://s4.images.proboards.com/starred.gifhttp://s4.images.proboards.com/starred.gif member is offline http://s4.images.proboards.com/buttons/email_sm.gif http://s4.images.proboards.com/buttons/message_sm.gif Joined: Apr 2007 Gender: Male http://s4.images.proboards.com/male.gif Posts: 1,523 Location: Bandar Kinrara , Puchong http://s4.images.proboards.com/xx.gifRe: The Savage Garden? Haha it has all the info you need to know about alot of species. After reading it it increased my interest in utricularias though. Now I want some haha. But really in my opinion, if you can only have 1 book on carnivorous plants, get The Savage Garden. It even has a sections at the end of each species chapter that gives a table of the info about how to grow the plants from soil recipes, to light, to terrariums, windowsill, outdoor and bog garden compatibility, and more. When I got my box of presents she hid it at the bottom underneath everything too so I didn't see it at first. Then as I dug through I saw the word Savage and I was so happy~! For example, he says Pinguicula gigantea is the only known Pinguicula with sticky leaves on BOTH sides...it is not. Pinguicula longifolia and certain forms of Pinguicula agnata are also sticky on both sides. But overall it is a very good book and I hope everyone whose got it or gets it really enjoys it. http://s4.images.proboards.com/smiley.gif Link to Post - Back to Top http://s4.images.proboards.com/ip.gif 82.32.21.171 dom Full Member http://s4.images.proboards.com/stargreen.gifhttp://s4.images.proboards.com/stargreen.gifhttp://s4.images.proboards.com/stargreen.gif member is offline http://s4.images.proboards.com/msn.gif http://s4.images.proboards.com/buttons/email_sm.gif http://s4.images.proboards.com/buttons/message_sm.gif Joined: Dec 2006 Gender: Male http://s4.images.proboards.com/male.gif Posts: 218 Location: Kuala Lumpur, Sentul http://s4.images.proboards.com/xx.gifRe: The Savage Garden? Try to order from them. Cheaper than getting it from Kino. http://www.acmamall.com/rethink.books?Se....f606eb525ffdc56 Link to Post - Back to Top http://s4.images.proboards.com/ip.gif 203.121.63.196My very first blog.
