Nice pics bro Akirasama, do you know how much YG is selling the N. boschiana? I guess most YG plants originated from MT, like the N. rafflesiana "Kuching Squat" or " Tricolor" that you just bought. Thanks for sharing the pics...

PS : is that amp "tricolor" for sale??

Ken, I have no special treatment for my ventricosa, i just put it inside the yard and water it like normal plant, i guess maybe the plant is happy with the environment

Ali, i am same like you, at first i saw the rafflesiana, the first thing come into my mind is " Wow, this thing really have a very long tendril"

Hi there Akira,

Thanks for the maxima tlatawiran picture. I think you're right. It's not a fusca hybrid.

I love your mirabilis echinostoma. The pitcher is so beautiful. May I know the growing conditions for it? Tks. Is this BE's clone?

I grow my mirabilis under 50% net with a hanging pot, i guess this plant love a lot lights and high humidity:laugh:

This mirabilis is a BE clone where i bought it from fauzi:tongue:

Glad to hear that Akira..hope mine turns out to be as colourful as your echinostoma!
May i know how long will it take to produce upper pitchers as mine is only a small plant with a few small peristomes pitchers ;)And your pitcherr is red in colour but mine is green..will it change the colour??So desperate to know as this is so beautiful and eye-catching.
Where did you get your ventricosa from (Fauzi?//
Thanx!

Emm... that pitcher I show in the post still not an upper pitcher yet, last time i bought it from fauzi it still a M size plant, it takes me about 4 to 5 month to produce that pitcher:tongue:

I am not so sure will it change from green to red, coz my mirabilis also in green color, with red speckled at first, it suddenly give me this red pitcher after i hang this plant at a place with 50% direct sunlight. Fruthermore, BE has 6 clones for this type of mirabilis, it's depend ur luck on what color you will get. But dont be too sad if your mirabilis is in green color, maybe the sex of the plant will be different since it has 6 clones, it will be a really nice thing once get a female plant:tongue:
