Don't feel bad I waited two plus years until mine bloomed. And then bought another that bloomed months afterwords. I'd say the coral chip (limestone substitute) is a big reason why for me.

Thanks for the "comfort" Rob.........Well it could also be that when i bought it it only had 5-6 leaves
