Garden Visits

I did some garden visits last weekend but only now I managed to upload all the photos into photobucket. The first one is a collector's garden locate at one of the hills in Penang. I think it's about 680m above sea level amongst prime forest area. THe temperature is about the same as our lowland temperature except for a degree drop or two only. Not so high but it really does wonders to the plants!

Enough of talk. Here are some pics.

View of Penang looking from the top.

Plentiful of heliconias. I only manage to snap a few shots as most weren't flowering at that time.
Was told this is Hot Rio Night.

Whoa, now another festooning till and brom garden Andy!! But seeing your garden alone is enough to bring smiles to my face *biggrin2*
I think the place is on one of the Teluk Bahang hills. 680m above sea level surely is more than enough for anything tropical to grow beautifully there!!

Yup. It's a beautiful place. Especially the view overlooking Georgetown.
cbkhoon, Actually the place is one of the old colonial bungalows scattered throughout the top of Penang Hill but it's not the Belleview hotel.

Funkychips, I think with the fresh air alone would help a lot for the plants to thrive. Needless to say abt the temperatures!. All are coloring up very nice. Even the Nepenthes too.
