Re: Dry season neps...
Hi Marvin,
Here's the latest on my N. lowii x campanulata. It just been through about 1 month + of dry season with low humidity. It's not looking it's best now... :crying: Trimmed off many dried leaves so not many leaves left but can see new pitcher forming now... http://img707.imageshack.us/img707/8594/lowxcampa1.jpg The only remaining deformed pitcher :crying: http://img205.imageshack.us/img205/5071/lowxcampa2.jpg |
Re: Dry season neps...
Just can't help but notice, what chunky media are you using? Looks like burnt earth but it is large. Also, you drill your pots?
|
Re: Dry season neps...
Hi CJ,
Yup, I'm using chunky burnt earth for this and yes, most of my neps pots were drilled. I believed most nep preferred well circulated media, I learned this (drilled pot)from fellow growers in Indonesia and Thailand. |
Re: Dry season neps...
Yea i've been wanting to drill holes for my pots but don't have any equipment...Soo what do use and normally how much to buy it
|
Re: Dry season neps...
ken, heat the end of the screwdriver, place on the pot side where u want to make holes. push softly and while the plastic melt make a slight round turn to make a perfect round hole.

Re: Dry season neps...
That the pitcher formed just when you bought it?
