Re: N. Campanulata
a bit of update:
-one of the two remaining leafs turning black, finally found a bag of burned soil many kilometers away, repotted it, the bottom consist of coco chips and sphagnum moss to hold the burn soil, about 1/3 of the total medium, and the 2/3 are purely burn soil, how often should I water it? thanks:smile: |
Re: N. Campanulata
How big is your pot and did you sieve the burnt soil before using it?? Many factors (icluding the ones I just asked) affect your watering frequency.
The idea is to only keep it moist not wet with water draining easily from the media. |

Re: N. Campanulata
Sieve is actually filter... but you said you rinse the burned soil many times, so that should be fine.
This is my campa when I first got it... in bad condition... almost didn't make it :sweating: http://img695.imageshack.us/img695/9194/campanulata.jpg Notice my burnt soil?? You can only get that if you "sieve". *biggrin2* |
