Edwardsiana hybrid ID
Hi I was hoping that someone would be able to identify this plant for me it was sold as an edwardsiana hybrid but I don’t know what other nepenthes it has been crossed with.
the first photo was sent to me to show what the plant would look like full grow. The other photos are of my plants they are still a bit small but starting to show some colour. http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/3244/nep1j.jpg http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/1314/1001162.jpg http://img338.imageshack.us/img338/5569/1001172.jpg http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/1270/1001164.jpg http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/3628/1001167q.jpg http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/6471/1001174.jpg http://img338.imageshack.us/img338/9047/1001178.jpg http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/8863/1001181.jpg http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/6508/1001182.jpg |
Re: Edwardsiana hybrid ID
First of all i've never heard of anyone making man made hybrids of N edwardsiana other than MT's burbid x edwardsiana or the opposite cross and besides that barely anyone has it in cultivation..And also the 1st pic looks like it has some rafflesiana genes in it...

Re: Edwardsiana hybrid ID
This might be MT's N. x Menarik (N. veitchii x N. rafflesiana). Need to see a closer shot of the leaves and stem to be sure...
