Hi Ed.....How did you make your amp x vent so big...My plants leaves are getting size but pitchers are not..Also for mine the body is red but peristrome is yellow/green..Does it need full sun to make it as red as yours???? Can take a pic of your whole plant??

Sexy, hot and juicy lips.Thx for sharing!!Can you tell me where did you get your N.veitchii green.

wijaya 12th September 2009 12:16 AM

Re: Show those lips

@Ken: will try to get the whole plants pic later, I exposed it to full direct morning sun for few hours only and the rest of the day got very bright light. In times surely the pitcher will grow bigger and bigger, this one showing is from Fauzi, so might be the same as yours. As for peristome might be not enough sun also might be of different clone.

@David: glad you like it.

@Cpnut: thanks for posting yours and keep this thread rolling. Love the green veitchii.

Re: Show those lips

kit1212,
I got it from Fauzi. I believe this N. veitchii was sold by MT few years ago.

Wijaya,
Glad you like the green veitchii. I love the striped peristome of your N. maxima x [(stenophylla x lowii) x (xRokko x veitchii)] and N. mirabilis... very nice !

wijaya 12th September 2009 12:43 AM

Re: Show those lips

@cpnut: this one is quite an easy one, show you the whole pitcher, so slim but nice size and sexy with maxima characters. I will update when the peristome totally opened and stayed.

Ken,
Since this hybrid is a new release. All the plants are seedgrown and they can vary between peristome colour, pitcher colour etc etc.

Red pitcher with yellow peristome sounds cool.

Re: Show those lips

Robert has your N.Hookeriana flowered before???? I thought N gardentech was all from 1 clone...Cos i've red somewhere that the hybrid produced green pitchers but out off all of the seedlings a couple of them showed red pitchers and those were chosen to be N x gardentech....Correct me if im wrong..

NepNut 12th September 2009 10:54 PM

Re: Show those lips

Ken,
Still waiting, most probably will be a while before it flower since it's not even producing intermediate and upper pitcher....

Regarding the x Gardentech, I also thought it's a selected clone, if not mistaken N. ampullaria x ventricosa was released a few years ago (those batch will probably be seed grown). Will need to ask Fauzi to confirm about that.

kentosaurs 12th September 2009 10:56 PM

Re: Show those lips

Now fauzi is also selling a clone of gardentech which has pinkish pitchers..

wijaya 13th September 2009 10:12 PM

Re: Show those lips

@Ken: I got my N. x GardenTech April 2008 from Fauzi, still of the seeds grown batch. Here is the whole plant:
http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/a...t/DSC01892.jpg

And the other two variants of this hybrid are pink and green pitcher, but those batches already a TC.
