Re: LJ_Tan's Grow List

it is normal to have leaves turn from green to reddish, sometimes red spot are due to excessive sunlight. But in the wild, this is totally normal

I'm using 100% sphagnum moss for my Nepenthe expect N. albomarginata was using 100% soil *biggrin2*.
I did try for 60% sphagnum moss and 40 soil for N. ampullaria but the result was nt goods as I'm using 100%.:shy:

I do not have rot issue for N. ampullaria because in 'normal', the pot was about 30% in the water *biggrin2*

May be we needs advice from the Senior member on this issue.

wow....to be honest, i did not dare to put them at high water level place, as i read from many place state that they need good air ventilation and not too overwet media. one of my nepenthes die because of that, it was potted at 100% sphagnum moss, it did thrive for 2month, after that just die of rot in two weeks time......
