Also, is Redfern shipping by air (fast) or sea (about 3 weeks)? Shipped to Door or to port. All different charges. If they can let us know of the freight forwarders, then can liase directly with them don't have to see the customs (= $$$ Ahem!). Charges are in per cubic meters basis. |

I can tell you though that from the presentation that was given these will be must haves when they are released. He has gone to great effert to track down plants that have either never been seen before (some will only officially recieve names later this year) or have not been seen since discovery many years ago. |

Adam, Thanks for the kind explaination. I know some are "yet to be released" books. Tot better get the ball rolling now cos the group purchase will definately take some time to compile and they are considered rather expensive in Malaysia, so members may need some time to consider too.
Yes would like to have the Neps of the old world vol 1 & 2 but that is pushing my budget. Better abstain for now. |

There are other charges which David has to bear but he is too nice to ask from you. 1) The exchange rates fluctaute daily and varies from bank to bank. So what your bank quote you is different from the bank David uses. 2) payment by bank draft bank draft cost between RM2 to RM5 postage to UK + registered mail fee (RM5.00) 3) payment by TT Bank charges anything between RM 20 to RM50 4) payment by credit card Stewart UK bank bills MasterCard/Visa in pound sterling Mastercard/Visa then bill David's Malaysian bank in US dollars Here there are two exchange rate losses. So as David do not incur losses, I propose we remit David a fix amount in ringgit using a generous exchange rate. The published bank negara rate (selling) for yesterday is £1 = RM5.498 Using a generous rate of £1 = RM5.70, £31.18 = RM177.72 and rounding up to the nearest ringgit = RM178.00 So, I hope you guys will not mind giving the little bit extra to cover his loss and expenses. Cool man! Just found out that there's a lesser known or the least documented CP call Triphyophyllum. It is quite an unusual CP and one of the most interesting of all sticky-leaved insect-eating plants. You're welcome Shawn. Glad that I helped made this Christmas a great one for you.
