hi c702 welcome to CP world,

first of all, you plan to keep them in tank or just open air? if you plan using T5, then must be T5HO = high output. FL = fluorescent light can be use as well . But it need depend the height between your plant and the light. how big of your environment. :1thumbup::1thumbup:

Hi C702, Welcome to Petpitcher.
Edmund is right, you must use the T5HO, you could also use PLL 860, 36w (Philips or Osram) which is also suitable for plants. I knew some guys in Hong Kong like Avery, Rex etc. are using this with very good results. And more importantly, it's cheaper. :)
Dom, Lim, Isaac .... you guys should be more knowledgeable on this.

ya.... sometime depend your budget too. For my $$$$ condition, i will just use PLL as artificial lighting but the disadvantages is heat. Good luck. Feel free to ask and share with us!
