I hang all my neps so a cage won't help. I'll just squish any I find then. Mantis are rare near my place. Only lizards, frogs, snakes and birds have entered my house.(and a squirrel once).

Well i did once catch a giant (>4inches) grasshopper chomping on my hanging neps... Needless to say i caught it .. and then i gave it a a friend's 3yr old kid... err never heard of it since then. :laugh:

The cage is only for my smaller neps which i find are the usual targets at my place by the squirrels.

Well all of the grasshoppers on my plants are 3-4 inches. My maid squished one. There's still a few. Luckily they don't breed as fast as mealybugs.
