Mystery Hoya for ID
Ok Hoya sifu's...Any guesses on the identity of this one? Don't worry, I'm not out to embarrass anyone - I don't have a clue! :tongue: Collected a cutting in the Thai jungle just over a year ago. It has grown wonderfully and finally flowered but it's not one I'm at all familiar with. Nice daytime scent, almost as strong as nighttime.

Well, by this morning the whole look has changed! The corollas have fully recurved and it looks very similar to Hoya verticillata or Hoya Laos, but as we say here in Thailand, "same same, but different!"

Silver specks on leaves check...
Recurved white flower with pink/fuschia centre checked... I think it is H. verticilliata... But... The ribbing on the leaves.... Haiyo... Hoya is such a headache... But in a good way... hehehe... |
