Wow, it certainly has beautiful colouration! I only saw one that stunning at my friends house. Do you put it under full sun?

Wah......Man.......Nice purpurea.....Although i'm not so much into sarrs but man tats some nice colouration on it.Also take away those weeds once awhile...Just to be on the safe side.Well edward it has to be in full sun to get that colour..

sorry.. i just grow it under full sun and make sure it gets enough water daily.

i dont fertilize it. when i got it, it was in new zealand sphagnum moss.. but that i dont think that the NZ moss plays a factor lol...

Argh......fertilizers are murderers of CPs no matter how good they are. New zealand sphagnum moss is gooooooddddd and has that nicceeeeeee smmmeeeellllllll........bestgrow..........;p

Well i always throw away the water coming out from my mini bog into the tray and fill it with fresh one....Because ones it comes down from the bottom it stinks and its yellow in colour.

Well my purpurea is either dead or dormant. How to tell the differences between dead and dormant purpurea.(since it doesn't produce phyllodia)

Dig it up. A dead plant will have a mushy rizome. If its alive the rizome will be firm, like a potato.

Hehehe, alcran, you make it sound like handling potatoes....

Well, I think cleaning the water in the water tray is important. Unless you want mosquitoes chasing after you....plus, when the water has evaporated, or has been used up, there is a high risk of mosquito larvae to die and its decomposition releasing salt and some minerals.
