Drosophyllum
 
Thought I would share a few photo's of my Drosophyllum that has just started flowering. Very happy with it's growth so far. It seems o enjoy it's location.

very nice!how big is it?

and the sky looks very blue..my gues is that it hasnt rain quiet awhile there?

The pot is about 25cm across. The flowers are 1-2 inches wide. It hasn't rained for almost a week. We had floods prior to that. It was about 40 Celsius yesterday.

will it have seeds?
i heard that Drosophyllum can grow in nutrient media.is that true?

I am hopeing to get some seeds but I will have to wait and see. Not sure about nutrients in the media. I haven't heard about that. They do grow in very dry soil. Mine is in a mix of peat moss, 20mm rock, sand and perlite. They are sensitive to overwatering.
