Waaaaiiiiittttt.......don't run away first i know the pictures not so nice but just take a look la...:crying::crying:..hahahahah.

Hi everyone,

Soweeee,there has been some misunderstanding because that veitchii i wanted to buy it but i didn't i just took a picture of it for memories of it hahaha nice rite so just wanted to say i didn't have that plant if i had i would already added it in my growlist.

Anyway the 1st picture for sarracenia is the one i bought instead of the veitchii haiz....i bought it for RM30 he said was some new arrival or something probally pulling my legs.So can anyone umm help me idenitify those sarrs????Im not even sure what are they using for my sarrcenia in the second pic as a media anyone knows????

Lol dunno why you like my vent i know its some kind comments but to me my vent is like my ugly duckling but im trying to make it become a swan by giving it highland conditions lately.

And also the chilli looks so delicious i tasted one very very spicy lol i choked hahahaha.And i also grew some seedlings of the chili you can see it behind the chili plant there is a black pot.

Sorry ya for the veitchii will note it next time

anyway, rm30 for the sarracenia? wowh! thats a lot. last time i got my purpurea from YG park rm15.

anyway, the substrate in the second part is peat with some coconut husk perhaps?

actually i saw the same type of veitchii by YG during the MAHA exhibition.. this veitchii is a hybrid right? it was selling rm130++ as far as i can remember.. i bought a few of its babies instead...

anyway, your neps are really beautiful.. you mist them daily?

Hi Ken,

the substrate that are using for the sarra is actually rotted sphagnum.

thats a lowland form veitchii pink, clone from MT i think.

That chilli quite big and little oval..I never see it before...The chilli I most see is very small and thin....:unsure:

I know its quite a lot for a sarracenia.The 2nd pic is sold to me at RM 15 and the bigger sarrcenia is RM 30...I bought it because it just looks good to me hahaha

Not all the time if raining i don't mist them i water them once every 2 days and most of the time(most) i spray they're leaves 2-3 times a day.Yeah the veitchii was selling at around that price.So nice hor.....how i wish i had it.

So can anyone identify those sarrs???And i hardly see anyone having a N mixta x fusca except david if im not wrong.I bought it from tesco 2 years ago for RM 18

you got the nep from tesco? how was it when u got it.. everytime i see neps in tesco they are either half dead or close to dying. the other day in carrefour, i saw a drosera with the leaves all dewless and dried up.. left the stalk only lol.

Lol a member from this forum said it was and when i look at other N mixta x fusca it looks pretty much alike but i don't have much pics on it.Some people say that N fusca hybrids has a red colouration on its stem just a little.Anyway i'll check out if im wrong then i'll change it

I got my 1st ever nep, a YG rafflesiana Johor spotted from a local Giant, can't bare the sight of neps slowly dying away... so have to "rescue" it :laugh:, have "rescued" quite a few neps from local nurseries and hypermarket ever since... :laugh:

Nice plants you have there, Ken. The first sarra is a S. mitchelliana, not sure of the 2nd one as it is still quite small. It's easier to ID when the plant grow into it's full potential.
Try place it under full sun to get it's optimum growth. Post it again after that for ID. I think there will be other sifu here to give you the answer.

Yeah normally plants from areas like this they're CP's dont look really well.When i got it,it has 5 leaves with just one pitcher on it.Not to say it was in good conditions when i bought it but it was fine looking.

Thanks for idying one of my sarrs..i am giving it as much sun as i can give it gets about 4 hours of direct sunlight or more.These sarrs are very common around the local nurseries.I'll try to give them more so that they'll get nice colours

S.mitchelliana is a hybrid between S purpurea and S leochophylla rite???Not sure if the spelling is rite or not.Anyone knows where to get some nice looking droseras/sundews for a cheap price and is somewhere near my area?? Because i dont seem to see any in the nurseries i go to.I would wanna visit fauzi's nursery after my final year exam but for now i will be aticking to my plain old plants.

And also now i am hanging my bicalcarata on a broomstick like i hang all my other guys..and leaving one of my rafflesiana and veitchii x fusca on the floor so i was just thinking since N bical lives near a swamp so it has very wet conditions should i not hang it and let my raff hang up there??I don't wanna move my N veitchii x fusca cos im just trying if it likes dapled direct sunlight under my mini palm tree.I know this will not change much but was just thinking maybe the bical would wanna sit on the floor and my raff go up there.Anyone can give an opinion??
