I have seen this pitcher personally, really adourable. Love the funnel shaped pitcher. In fact, the actual thing looked more funnel-shaped then what show here.

Is it talangensis x veitchii?

phissionkorps 17th October 2008 01:47 PM

Re: Guess what pitcher this is.....

Nope. 4 species involved. One of those is included

Now that you've mentioned N lady pauline it does have some charateristics of it in the pitcher.Phissionkorps can give any more clues or maybe state if any of our guesses have those species in this hybrid

Re: Guess what pitcher this is.....

my guess would be (N. talangensis x maxima) x xTM

phissionkorps 17th October 2008 04:01 PM

Re: Guess what pitcher this is.....

Talangensis is in it, no maxima. 1 more HL and 2 LL species make this cross.

Re: Guess what pitcher this is.....

Let me guess.
(thorelii x aristo)x(talangensis x bellii)?

(thorelii x talangensis)x(rafflesiana x fusca)?

phissionkorps 18th October 2008 04:30 PM

Re: Guess what pitcher this is.....

First 3 species are right, but incorrect order. And then there's the 4th one, that if someone guesses it, or I tell you, you'll think "man I knew that!". Hint: highlander

kentosaurs 18th October 2008 06:41 PM

Re: Guess what pitcher this is.....

Umm this is getting fun lol

N (thorelii x rafflesiana) x (talangensis x klosii)???

Ken

phissionkorps 19th October 2008 03:10 AM

Re: Guess what pitcher this is.....

Now you've got the right order for the first three, but the last species is wrong. There aren't any hybrids with klosii btw. Man-made at least.

Re: Guess what pitcher this is.....

Could it be N (thorelii x rafflesiana) x (talangensis x veitchii)?

Jimmy 19th October 2008 08:42 AM

Re: Guess what pitcher this is.....

Hmmm, I was going to say it looked like an N. "(thorelii x rafflesiana Singapore) x (talangensis x inermis)" - Right PK?:laugh::laugh:

Aliamyz 19th October 2008 09:51 AM

Re: Guess what pitcher this is.....

I think it's (thorelli x rafflesiana) x (talangensis x maxima);)

phissionkorps 19th October 2008 10:35 AM

Re: Guess what pitcher this is.....

Yep, inermis is the last one.

Re: Guess what pitcher this is.....

I'm gonna go with spectabilis x talangensis or spectabilis x mira. If not that is it more complex than an F1 hybrid or species?
