Your expertise required.
Sifus,
A newbie here who acquired a few plants over the weekend. As I wish to update my inventory of my CP's, would appreciate if you could ID them for me. Your assistance is much appreciated. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...r/000_0479.jpg Picked this up at some lonely nursery at CH. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...r/000_0477.jpg Got this from the pasar malam at Brinchang. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...r/000_0476.jpg According to the staff at Cactus Valley, this is called Indah. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...r/000_0480.jpg Common as it may be, I need a ID for my inventory. What to do, newbie mah!*biggrin2* Thanks in advance for the assistance. |
Re: Your expertise required.
1. I don't know
2. N sanguinea 3. Not sure 4. N x ventrata |
Re: Your expertise required.
1.N.hirsuta?/N benstonei??
2.Since from CH could be a cimplex hybrid of sanguinea 3.It does not look like indah (ventricosa x sphatulata) cos it doesn't have enough speckle...So im guessing a sphatulata 4.N ventrata |
Re: Your expertise required.
Robert, what kinda of hoya you have in the background?
|
Re: Your expertise required.
3 is a young N x Indah. Mature plant will have more speckles.

Re: Your expertise required.
The third plant is N.ventricosa x N.spathulata - I have got one too.

You got a keen eye! Better be careful when I take pics or you may know what type of underwear I use! :shy:hahaha! Dont know their names but one is white while the other is dark pink. Found the best way to guarantee flowers all the time is just to neglect it. In fact I just removed the trellis for a redesign of my garden and have yet to build another trellis for it; that's why it's sitting in the corner! |
Re: Your expertise required.
Anyone have any idea of the first Nep? If not, I have to just mark it as Unknown for the moment.
Thank you everyone for your kind assistance. |
Re: Your expertise required.
I have the first plant with NO ID too but I just classify it as a sanguinea because it looks similar.
