Dear all,

I needs help on below plant. I get it during "Pesta Bunga'" at Botanic Garden on school holiday and forget to ask for the name.

I think its a Mexican Ping, most probably a P. moranensis x ehlersiae (P. 'Sethos'). Hope I got it correct.:unsure:

The diameter was about 70mm.

I shuld name it as P. moranensis x ehlersiae (P. 'Sethos') or just P. 'Sethos'.

The both names are same so it depends on you. The "fancy" name P.'Sethos' *biggrin2*

P. 'Sethos' is a cultivar. You can't name it P. 'Sethos' if your plant is not the same clone as P. 'Sethos'. P. 'Sethos' and P. 'Weser' are the hybrids between P. moranensis and P. ehlersiae.

You need to wait for the flower. Check this site.

I think the YG Pings are fake Weser/Sethos.

it is very difficult without flower to determinate the species or the hybrids , wait for then the flower completly open to see the throat .
