Updates on ampullaria x sibuyanensis from BE

Hi guys,

Just thought of sharing this with anyone who has or thinking to get one of this BE hybrid. I bought this plant from Fauzi back in March, it was about 3 inches leaf tip to leaf tip then. These are shots I took today. The plant is now 5 inches leaf tip to leaf tip.

This shot taken few days earlier when latest pitcher is still developing:

This plant has been in the same terrarium where the sundews are in, it has been exposed to 55W x 2 of PL-L lighting for 10 hours per day. There is some spotting that has developed on the leaves due to the heat but other than that the plant continues to grow fine. Anyone has this plant grown outdoors please share, otherwise for terrarium candidates, this one is well recommended.:1thumbup:

Very nice nep, Alvin!!! Wonder whether it will be a compact grower when it matures.

Thanks Edward! I seem to find it's a fast grower though, but hopefully it wont outgrow the terrarium so soon!! :spinning:

Good growing, mine is not as fast growing as yours. Probably I grew it outdoor and for the past few months, the weather had been really dry and hot... Mine is growing slowly but steadily. :shy:

Here's mine, diameter about 4". Mind you not the best looking plant with nice top dressing... :shy:. The white stain is fungiside/insecticide residue.
